Coffee at a bookstore

My baby and I went to Border's to meet up with a friend and her baby. This is what I wore.

White nursing tank - Target
Green T - Wet Seal
Cardigan - Forever21
Scarf - Old Navy
Belt - Kohl's
Jeans - Calvin Klein
Shoes - Skechers
Bag - Old Navy

Cardigan sweaters are really helpful for discreet nursing, and so are scarves! I just tossed the tail of the scarf over my baby for a second, and I don't think I flashed anyone. Yay for not exposing myself!

I realize the bag doesn't necessarily go with the outfit (the scarf kinda throws it off, yes?) but it's what I carried.

I wore white socks with these shoes because it was really cold out and I didn't want frozen toes. Maybe some trouser socks would have been a better choice, if I had them.

Hi! Just started following your blog and it is really fun - your figure is fabulous. Kuddos to you for posting your outfits and trying to improve your style! Like you, I am a (relatively) new SAHM mom. Going from suits/business attire to more casual wear has been quite a transition for me, especially since I'm pregnant with #2 as well.
Anyway, here are my 2 cents on the outfit - I agree with you that the bag is competing with the scarf (which is super cute!) - I would use the red bag instead. Is it possible to wear the cardi either open or with a couple of more buttons done? It's pulling a bit oddly with just the one button closed. I'd also suggest wearing the scarf over the closed cardi, instead of under it. And how about a pop of color at the shoe - like a deep purple (http://www.6pm.com/n/p/p/7258388/c/28061.html) or an orange (http://www.6pm.com/n/p/p/7191464/c/535.html) flat? - both of these options are under $20. Hope that helps a bit!

Very cute and I acctually really like the bag with it, cus it picks up the blue in the scarf and adds some nice pattern mixing. Very cute outfit!! ~Kendra~

I like the scarf, just wouldn't tuck it into the cardigan!

cute outfit!! ;) i agree about the bag, if it was a solid color (even a bright one) i think it would look better.
